History
Striving Artists Theatre Company (SAC) was founded in 2005 under the artistic leadership of Gregory Luzitano, Jacqueline Boyle and Mary Beth Luzitano. SAC first experienced success with the regional premiere of Matt and Ben in 2006. In 2007, SAC competed in the 48-Hour Film Festival with the award winning short film, P.T. London in The Tri-Spy Try. The film was honored with the prestigious award for "Best Actor" and was featured in "The Best of Providence." After exploring the film arena, SAC returned to the stage, in October 2007, with an evening of original works entitled Too Much Pudding. This well received compilation of works was written by Jeremy Funke, Gregory Luzitano, and Matthew Luzitano.
